Local museums and places steeped in history
Although Władysławowo is mainly known for its beaches, it also has a rich cultural offering. A great example is the Museum of Butterflies, located in the observation tower of Dom Rybaka. It is one of the largest of its kind in Poland, home to over 6,000 specimens of butterflies and insects from around the world. Even those with no particular interest in entomology are likely to be impressed by its unique presentation and fascinating exhibits. Another interesting spot in the town is Hallerówka, the historic villa of General Józef Haller. It now serves as a branch of the Museum of the Puck Land and offers insight into the history of Poland's marriage to the sea, as well as the interwar history of Pomerania. It's a cosy, quiet place to explore at your own pace. Those interested in technology and military history should also visit the Fortifications Open-Air Museum in Jastarnia or the Museum of Coastal Defence in Hel – both are located near Władysławowo and open throughout the season.Relaxation in a rented apartment with a jacuzzi
Rain doesn't have to mean boredom or a wasted day – especially if your accommodation offers facilities that allow you to fully unwind without leaving the building. The apartments in Władysławowo by Elegante are just such a place, where comfort meets the opportunity to care for both body and mind, whatever the weather. One of the greatest advantages of some of the apartments is their private jacuzzi – perfect for relaxing in warm water and recharging your energy after a day of sightseeing or walking. In addition, the apartments are equipped with kitchenettes, spacious living rooms and comfortable bedrooms, making a stay enjoyable even on a rainy day. You can prepare your favourite coffee or meal, relax with a good book or film, and take advantage of free Wi-Fi.Exploring the local dining scene
Władysławowo has plenty to offer when it comes to food, with a number of places that stand out for both the quality of their dishes and their atmosphere. Fish lovers shouldn't miss the Klipper Tavern – a restaurant open all year round that specialises in dishes made from fresh Baltic Sea fish. It's a place we wholeheartedly recommend to our guests. The menu features classic cod, fish soup and other dishes prepared according to traditional recipes. It's also a great opportunity to try regional drinks, such as craft beers from local breweries or fruit-based liqueurs from Kashubia. It's well worth visiting a café with a view of the sea or one tucked away in the town's side streets. Cosy spots serving good coffee and homemade cakes can be the perfect alternative to the busy promenade.Plan a stay for two in Władysławowo
